COLT Conference Chapter Secretary Book Event
Objective:
To develop the ability of chapter secretaries to maintain neat, accurate,
and complete records of all meetings in an approved manner and to maintain
complete information as suggested in the official FFA Chapter Secretary Book.
A. Rules and
Regulations
1.
Chapter secretary books are to be brought to the COLT Conference session
attended by the chapter members.
2.
The chapter secretary books will be placed on display during the COLT
Conference and should be picked up by the chapter at the close of the session
that they attend.
B.
Procedures
1.
The secretary book must be for the most recent year completed, i.e.,
April 1 through March 31.
2.
All meetings of the chapter must be reported during that period.
3.
Chapter, State, and National FFA Constitutions shall be inserted in the
appropriate section.
4.
The chapter program of activities shall be inserted in the appropriate
section.
C.
Official Score Card
The score card as found in the Official FFA Chapter Secretary Book shall
be the official scorecard.
D.
Awards
Secretary books meriting awards may be designated as purple, blue, red,
or white ribbon winners.
